By creating an account or using the Enlighten mobile application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App, or use it only in Guest/Preview mode where an account is not required.
Enlighten is provided by LINKULAR LTD (Company No. 514710599), registered at Simtat Hayekev 4, Jerusalem 9574762, Israel ("we", "us").
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly allow them to create accounts.
Enlighten is a gamified self-development app offering structured learning content ("Fields", "Categories", "Subjects", "Sections", and "Units") across topics such as mind, body, spirituality, and social skills, together with progress tracking, streaks, and other gamification features. Some content can be browsed without an account (Guest/Preview mode); saving progress, streaks, and personalization requires an account.
You may create an account using email/password, Google Sign-In, or (where available) Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
You agree not to: use the App for any unlawful purpose; attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts; reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the App's normal operation; upload or submit content that is unlawful, abusive, or infringes the rights of others; or misuse the feedback/support features to send spam or malicious content.
If you submit free-text answers, feedback, or other content through the App — including any screenshot or photo you choose to attach to feedback — you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, and process that content solely to operate and improve the App (for example, to display your saved answers back to you, or to review feedback). You retain ownership of content you submit.
All App content — including lesson text, illustrations, audio narration, icons, and the Enlighten name and logo — is owned by us or licensed to us, and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Some lesson, exercise, and course content is generated or assisted by artificial intelligence (AI) language models based on prompts and educational specifications we author and review, and passes through an internal quality-assurance review before publication — see our Privacy Policy, Section 11, for details. You may use App content only for your personal, non-commercial use of the App.
The App uses Google/Firebase for authentication and analytics, and Google AdMob to display advertising that helps fund the free App. Your use of the App is also subject to the applicable terms of these third-party providers. See our Privacy Policy for details on data shared with these providers and your controls over ad personalization.
The current version of the App does not offer in-app purchases or paid subscriptions. If we introduce paid features in the future, they will be sold through Apple's App Store or Google Play's billing systems as required by those platforms, and separate terms will apply at that time.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Enlighten's content is for general self-development and educational purposes only and is not medical, psychological, financial, or professional advice. We do not guarantee any particular outcome from using the App. Some content is AI-generated or AI-assisted (Section 7); while we review it for quality before publication, AI-generated content can occasionally contain errors, and you should use judgment before relying on it.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the amount (if any) you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time (see our Privacy Policy for how deletion works and the 30-day grace period). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your own country of residence require otherwise.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will require you to re-consent the next time you open the App before you can continue using it.
